Yuri Shamara was born on 21 January 1982 in the city of Slavyansk-na-Kubani in the Krasnodar Region.

He is a candidate of economic sciences and the author of more than 30 scientific publications and one monograph.

2007-2012: Deputy Financial Director and Vice President of Corporate Standards and Economic Safety for the KNGK Group

2010-2012: CEO of OOO Ilsky NPZ

2013-2014: Vice President of Economics and Finance at the KNGK Group

2014-2018: First Vice President of KNGK Group

2019-present: President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of KNGK-INPZ

Mr Shamara is the founder and president of the Pobeda Association for the Preservation of the USSR Transportation Legacy named after A. Shamara.

He was rewarded with a commendation from the head of the administration (governor) of the Krasnodar Region in 2013 and a commendation from the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation in 2017.

Yuri Shamara is a patron of the arts.

He is the founder of the Anastasia Charity Foundation for Helping Children.

He is fluent in English.
