Category: Endowment Stories MGIMO Awarded AMBA International Accreditation 24 August 2017 August 22nd, the Advisory Council of the Association of MBAs (AMBA) announced its decision to accredit MGIMO’s MBA and Executive MBA programs, managed by the School of Business and International Proficiency. AMBA is an international, impartial authority on MBA education established in 1967. The accreditation process comprised several stages, with the University first providing different data reports at AMBA’s request and then welcoming the team of the Association for an official visit. Different aspects of the programs were assessed, including the strategy of the Business School, the objectives of each course, the quality of the educational products, the satisfaction level of students, the Professors qualifications and the impact of the MBA on the career development of its graduates. During AMBA’s inspection, their experts met with the management of the University, faculty members and students. The outcome of the visit was the Organization’s decision to accredit MGIMO’s MBA and Executive MBA programs for two years. The inspectors noted upon the high level of qualification of faculty members and the interesting specializations offered by the University, especially those relating to Energy Policy, International Transport Operations and the Fashion Industry.
