Andrey Yepifanov Meets Winners of Endowment Student Grants Competition

November 15th, the winners of last year’s Student Grants Competition of the MGIMO Endowment and the participants of this year’s contest had a meeting with Andrey Yepifanov, Vice-President of the International Potassium Company, a graduate of MGIMO (1989) and a member of the University’s Board of Trustees.

MGIMO’s Vice-Rector for General Affairs Artem Malgin introduced the guest to the students and described the long-lasting support Andrey Yepifanov has offered to MGIMO. The guest emphasized his desire to give students opportunities, which were not available when he was a student.

Last year’s winners made presentations on the projects they implemented with the grant money (Middle East week, MGIMO Hockey Club, Miss MGIMO, Oeconomicus, MGIMO Business Club, Debate Club, MGIMO Choir and others) and presented their plans for the next year. Andrey Yepifanov expressed his readiness to continue his contribution to the development of these activities.

The 2017-2018 winners were awarded their certificates. This year more applications than ever before (70) were received and the fund reached 5 million rubles.
