MGIMO School of Business Accredited by AMBA for Five Years

On September 30th the Advisory Board of the Association of MBAs (AMBA) accredited MBA and Executive MBA programmes of the MGIMO School of Business and International Proficiency for five years.

This prestigious international accreditation is a recognised sign of quality of MBA and Executive MBA programmes in the whole world. The accreditation comprised several stages, including the submission of the Self-Audit Report and the official visit of AMBA commission members to MGIMO.

The experts assessed the mission, vision and development strategy of the business-school, financial sustainability, MBA’s main purposes, the quality of educational products and whether they meet the students’ expectations, the faculty qualifications, the role of the School of Business in the career of the alumni.

During their official visit, the members of AMBA Commission met with the University administration, assessed the resources and opportunities available to students.

Also, several meetings were held with the administration of the School of Business and International Proficiency, the faculty, MBA students and alumni.

Having carried out the assessment, the AMBA Commission decided to accredit MBA and Executive MBA programmes for five years.

Among the strength of the MGIMO School of Business the Commission especially commended high qualification and passion of the faculty, loyalty of the students and alumni, impressive degree of support from the University, commitment to the principles of international Association of MBAs, the quality of English spoken by staff, students and alumni, power of MGIMO brand in Russia and abroad.

MGIMO was first accredited by AMBA in 2017 for two years. The accredited business schools make up an elite international network with good opportunities for cooperation among universities as well as MBA alumni. The alumni of accredited MBA programmes become members of the international alumni association of AMBA and are granted access to the international business community network for MBA alumni.
