MGIMO Career Day. Online

May 28^th, MGIMO Career Day, one of the main events of the 2020 Career Days organized for students of the University, was held online on the digital platform "Facultetus".

MGIMO’s traditional Career Days were held remotely and this affected neither the scale nor the quality of the event. Over two days, MGIMO students took part in webinars with representatives of major Russian and international companies and interacted with potential employers, while remaining at home.

During different sessions with government representatives and managers of different corporations, students found out about how these organizations work and about the different vacancies and internships they offer.

In all, about 400 students and 50 employers participated in the job fair, including the Government of Moscow, the Russian Railways, Sberbank, Dom.rf, the Educational Center Maximum, Wildberries, Citibank, Ozon, MKB, Skolkovo Technopark, PepsiCo, KPMG, UNIQLO, Norilsk Nickel, the Bank of Russia, Ernst & Young and the GBU Innovations Agency of Moscow.

The companies presented students with more than 150 vacancies in different sectors of the economy, many of which appealed to young applicants.

On May 27^th, a career webinar for MGIMO students unfolded with the participation of Russian and international companies. The webinar is one of the main events of the MGIMO Career Days, which was jointly organized by the Endowment Foundation, the Career Center and the Alumni Association in order to inform students about the different internship and employment opportunities. Sessions can be watched online on MGIMO’s YouTube channel and on the University’s pages on the social networks Facebook and VKontakte.
