Category: Endowment Stories Open Day at MGIMO-Tashkent 7 December 2019 December 7th, ahead of its official opening ceremony, Open Day unfolded at MGIMO-Tashkent. Over 300 people gathered in the new building, which is unites classical architecture and modern infrastructure. MGIMO’s Vice-Rector A. Malgin described the different training programs offered at undergraduate and graduate levels. During the academic year 2020-2021 students at MGIMO-Tashkent will study within two BA and four MA programs, specializing in «Law», «Business Informatics», «Management» and «Linguistics». All the programs offer students the opportunity to follow «Moscow» modules, which are taught at MGIMO’s Russian campuses. Grants will be provided to undergraduate students. The program supervisors and MGIMO lecturers described in detail the subjects taught, the entrance tests, the practical aspects of the programs, the specificities of language training and took questions from prospective students. The Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy M. Bakoev remarked that some MGIMO programs have no equivalents in Uzbekistan. Students and pupils could also assess their level of English on the spot with a rapid test available to all.
