Category: Endowment Stories MGIMO Business School in QS Ranking of Best EMBA programs 30 June 2020 June 30th, the influential international rating agency Quacquarelli Symonds (Great Britain) published the latest edition of the QS Global EMBA Ranking. In the final table, the MGIMO’s EMBA program entered the 101+ category. In 2020, MGIMO’s School of Business and International Proficiency participated for the first time in the globally famous QS Global EMBA ranking with its Executive MBA program. In all, only two Russian business schools made it into the rating, one of which is MGIMO. MGIMO's position in the ranking testifies to the quality of the program, which was launched in 2015 and from which three cohorts of students have already graduated. The Executive MBA program of the School of Business and International Proficiency is in the 101+ category among 161 Executive MBA programs of business schools from 35 countries which participated in the ranking and one of only 141 programs included in the QS rating after selection. This is the third edition of the QS ranking of the best Executive MBA programs in the world. Aside the international rating, QS also compiles regional ratings for the North America, Europe, Latin America and the Asia-Pacific regions. In the regional ranking for Europe, the Executive MBA program of the School of Business and International Proficiency took the 50+ place among 56 programs participating. The QS Global EMBA rating considers five different criteria: Career Outcomes, Diversity, Employer Reputation, Executive Profile and Thought Leadership. The School of Business and International Proficiency registered the best results in the Executive Profile category, where it came in 25th place (with 80.5 points out of 100) among all business schools participating in the ranking. In the regional Europe Summary ranking, it took the 12th position in the Executive Profile category. This year, a record number of programs participated in the ranking, compared to 156 candidate EMBA programs last year and 143 programs in 2018. Over the past quarter of a century, QS has become a leader in the world among companies operating in the field of career advancement and education. It organizes large international events devoted to business education, such as the QS World MBA Tour and QS World Executive MBA Tour, but also created ratings of the most competitive MBA and EMBA programs, which help students determine the best place to study. The results of the QS Global EMBA rating show that the MGIMO School of Business and International Proficiency offers its students high-quality training in its international programs, and confirms its status as one of the best business schools in the world.
